Mary Yadinskie, 96, a former resident of Kulpmont and Sheppton, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at Ridgeview Healthcare & Rehab Center, where she was recently a guest.
Mary was born in Mt. Carmel, on June 25, 1923, a daughter of the late Mary Stelma.
She retired, having been employed as an attendant at the former Selinsgrove State School. Mary was currently a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Sheppton,
Mary was preceded in death by brothers and sisters and by her husband, Joseph Yadinskie in 1987.
She is survived by two daughters, AnnaMay Kealy, of Zion Grove and Marie Bott, of Ocean City, NJ. A sister, Pearl Yodis, of Natalie, survives as do 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Joseph’s Church in Sheppton, at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 10, with Father Dominic Phan officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mary’s family from 10-11 AM at the church prior to mass.
Mary will be laid to rest alongside her husband at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, immediately following the mass.
