Louise Jacoby, 73 – Enjoyed Spending Time with Friends and Laughing

Louise A. Jacoby, 73, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, February 27, at her granddaughter’s residence in Newark, DE.

Born in Pottsville on September 24, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Henry & Dorothy (Wilhelm) Kershner.

She was the widow of Wilson Moyer.

Louise was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

She was a devoted member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn, PA, and loved her church family.

Louise enjoyed crafting, working at the election polls, volunteering at the soup kitchen, spending time with family and friends, playing board games, and most of all laughing.

She is survived by a daughter, Janice Ace, Virginia, a son,Donald Jacoby, New Mexico, grandchildren: Patrick Ace, fiance of Susan Owens, & Samantha Ace & her wife, Jeanette Perkins, and five great-grandchildren: Joseph, Emma, Wyatt, Bryce, and Lucas.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Summer Hill, Auburn, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, with Pastor Kenneth McDowell officiating.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Interment will follow the service at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven, PA.

At the family’s request, donations in Louise’s name may be sent to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 1235 Summer Hill Rd., Auburn, PA 17922.
