It was a golden weekend for the Nativity basketball program.
On Friday, the school’s storied Golden Girls brought home yet another District XI title. The next night, the Hilltoppers boys’ team won its District XI championship game.
They’re two of six Schuylkill League teams to win a District XI basketball championship this weekend.
Those schools, along with the runners-up in each class, now move on to the PIAA tournament. They’ll be joined by another local team which won a third-place game to make it to states.
