Are You Ready for the 2019 Coal Region Football Season?

The 2019 Schuylkill County high school football season is about to kick off.

It’s Coal Region Football 2019!

Teams from around the area competed in scrimmages this past week in anticipation of Week 1 of the high school football season in Schuylkill County.

On Saturday, three local small schools got together high atop Pottsville for what they call a tri-scrimmage. Shenandoah Valley and Tri Valley each came to visit Nativity BVM for the preseason tune-up.

This weekend’s got a full slate of games both in and out of the area as local squads play a non-conference schedule.
