2019 Schuylkill County Fair Concert Lineup

Country pop star Aaron Kelly and four guys who abandoned their Amish ways after Rumpspringa headline the concert performances at the 2019 Schuylkill County Fair.

The Schuylkill County Fair gets underway on Monday, July 29, at the County Fairgrounds in Summit Station.

Aaron Kelly to Perform at 2019 Schuylkill County Fair

Kelly will take the M&T Bank Stage at Schuylkill County Fairgrounds on Friday, Aug. 2. Kelly’s performing a pair of shows that night, at 7 and 9 p.m.

You may remember Kelly from Season 9 of American Idol. At age 17, Kelly became the youngest contestant on the show to reach the Top 5. Here’s some video of him performing on the show in 2010:

Kelly’s originally from Florida but now calls Sonestown, PA his home.

Wanna see an Amish guy sing Baby Got Back? Who doesn’t?

Well, they’re not really Amish anymore if they abandon the religion, right? Either way, here’s what we promised:

The video’s from 11 years ago but that ought to give you a good idea what to expect when Amish Outlaws take the stage at the 2019 Schuylkill County Fair. They’re the last featured act at the Fair this year. You can check them out at the M&T Bank stage on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7 and 9 p.m.

Here’s the featured concert lineup for the 2019 Schuylkill County Fair.

Monday, July 29 – New Individuals

New Individuals will perform shows at 7 and 9 p.m. This oldies band from Schuylkill County actually formed way back in 1966. They play hit songs from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

The New Individuals are Chuck Cahoe, Kenny Bagenstose, Dale Kauffman, Rick Smith and Dave Stranko.

Tuesday, July 30 – Sapphire

If you’re into 70s and 80s classic rock, you’ll want to check out the featured show on Tuesday night at Schuylkill County Fair. That’s when Sapphire takes the M&T Bank stage with shows at 7 and 9 p.m., July 30.

Sapphire formed in the 1980s here in Schuylkill County. They took a break from playing but got the band back together in 2002 and have been performing since.

Wednesday, July 31 – Ridgeline

It’s Schuylkill County Day at the Fair on Wednesday. And on the M&T Bank Stage at 7 and 9 p.m., a Schuylkill County band, Ridgeline, will perform.

Ridgeline is Dave Evans, Dave Kintzel, Ken Kintzel, and Tim Donmoyer. This new band promises three-part harmonies to some classic and country rock songs.

Thursday, August 1 – Mudflaps – Reunion

Billed as one of Pennsylvania’s best oldies and dance bands, the Mudflaps are reuniting and bringing years of music and live performance experience with them. They’ll be performing two shows on the M&T Bank Stage at the 2019 Schuylkill County Fair on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7 and 9 p.m.

The Mudflaps Reunion performs regularly throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and West Virginia. They play everything from classic rock hits to blues and classic country.

Friday, August 2 – Aaron Kelly

The former American Idol Top 5 performer brings his country pop styles to the Schuylkill County Fair in 2019. Kelly performs two shows, at 7 and 9 p.m. on the M&T Bank Stage on Friday, Aug. 2.

Saturday, August 3 – Amish Outlaws

The final night of the 2019 Schuylkill County Fair concert lineup wraps with performances by Amish Outlaws.

Four the six members of the band were born and raised in the Amish lifestyle but after Rumpspringa, they abandoned those ways and discovered, among other worldly things, music. The Amish Outlaws perform two shows on the final night of the Fair at 7 and 9 p.m.
