Williams Valley shut out DuBois Central Catholic, 5-0, Friday morning to capture the PIAA Class 1A Softball championship.
The win is the 2nd state softball championship for Williams Valley in the last 4 years and 3rd in the last 7. Previous state championships came in 2016 and 2013.
Williams Valley finishes the 2019 season with a 27-2 record.
