Blue Mountain Hosts Schuylkill League Softball Semifinals Wednesday

Rain postponed the start of the Schuylkill League softball playoffs this week.

Now, the semifinal round gets started on Wednesday, May 15 at Patton Field at Blue Mountain High School.

In the 4:30 game, Division 2 champions Williams Valley (12-1 in SL regular season) take on Division 1 wild card Blue Mountain (11-3).

Williams Valley defeated Nativity BVM in a Division 2 playoff game, 12-0, to reach the Schuylkill League playoffs.

In the other semifinal game, starting at 6:30, the Division 1 champs Pine Grove (14-0) take on Division 3 champions Mahanoy Area (8-5).
