North Schuylkill and Schuylkill Haven cracked the top 10 in MaxPreps.com’s latest power rankings for Pennsylvania high school baseball.
In the overall state rankings, North Schuylkill came in at #9. Schuylkill Haven is right behind the Spartans at #10.
No other local teams cracked the top 25 in the MaxPreps.com ranks. There is a 3-game minimum for these early-season rankings. These rankings may be slightly askew due to the lack of data. Early swings in ranking should be expected.

The following Schuylkill League teams haven’t qualified for the rankings due to a lack of games played: Blue Mountain, Mahanoy Area, Marian Catholic, Minersville, Weatherly.
MaxPreps PIAA District 11 Baseball Rankings (Updated April 2, 2019)
As expected, North Schuylkill and Schuylkill Haven are 1-2 in the early season District 11 power rankings from MaxPreps.
Tri-Valley also cracked the top 5 in one of the first state rankings from the site. Williams Valley sneaked into the top 10 this week.
A minimum of 3 games played at the time of the rankings qualified for this update. Several teams haven’t qualified: Blue Mountain, Mahanoy Area, Marian, Minersville, and Weatherly.
