is it true that a husband and wife team work in the Schuylkill county prothonotary office…and that one of them is running for prothonotary… will she resign if he wins or will they too be double dipping like maria casey… especially since that office is already being investigated

Kielbasy and Cream? That’s what is scheduled for 1 p.m. July 27 at Chill Out Ice Cream Parlor and Snack Shop along the Gold Star Highway just south of the Gold Star Bridge, Shenandoah. Kowalonek’s Kielbasy will team with Chill Out. Kowalonek’s Kielbasy will offer is festival favorites and Chill Out will offer its ice cream specialties to benefit the revitalization group Downtown Shenandoah Inc. Don’t think there will actually be any offerings of Kielbasy mixed with ice cream.

Does the Pottsville Area School District Superintendent understand that PP&L has a rather steep charge for converting to solar power? They also must agree to the change, transformers need to be removed( another costly project) and there needs to be one point of contact for all three schools which again could be costly.
Has the District even met with PP&L? What are those costs? Have they been factored into the decision?

Pretty sure we’re just investing in the solar power, not storing it on site. That’s why no one is worried that the lights could go out on cloudy days. The “cash rolls in” in the form of tax credits and energy coupons that have a fluctuating value. Those credits recently tanked in value until the state government came in and closed the out-of-state market on them.

Great questions you’re asking though. It’s pretty obvious they did very little research into this project. The main goal seemed to be: beat the deadline on the tax credits the investor group will enjoy.

Worried more about what individuals will profit from this ill-advised venture.
