The annual Pottsville Area Soap Box Derby is this Saturday and police in the city have announced traffic restrictions related to the event.
Laurel Boulevard will be closed to all motor vehicles from N. 2nd St. to N. 7th St. from about 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday. There will be no thru traffic at that location and parking restrictions on the street will begin at 6 a.m.
