National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Schuylkill County.
The Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 1 a.m. Friday and expires at 10 a.m. Friday.
Mixed wintry precipitation is expected during that time and it is likely to cause slippery road conditions and impact the Friday morning commute.
Up to one-tenth of an inch of ice could accumulate during that time. Ice accumulations will be greatest on ridgetops, NWS says.
