National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Schuylkill County on Tuesday.
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Right now, NWS says between 4-6 inches of snow could possibly fall on Schuylkill County on Tuesday.
Localized amounts of more than 6 inches are possible at higher elevations in the area, forecasters say.
Hazardous travel is expected for at least the morning commute times.
Snow is expected to start falling after 4 a.m. Tuesday and continue into the early afternoon.
Rain could mix with snow if temperatures climb above the freezing mark during the day.
Heaviest snowfall rates will be in the morning and snow could be heavy at times, NWS says.
