Annual Lakefront Fest to be Held at Sweet Arrow Lake This Sunday

Celebrate the fall season at the Lakefront Festival to be held at the Sweet Arrow County Park Clubhouse this coming Sunday, October 12 from 11 am to 2 pm. 

Admission and parking is free. 

Food is also available, too, from the Sweet Arrow Lake Conservation Association and Schuylkill Technology Center’s Culinary Arts students. 

The festival features a number of vendors and activities. Vendors include: Schuylkill County Trout Unlimited, Lykens Valley Children’s Museum, Schuylkill—Keep It Pretty, Penn State Master Gardeners, Blue Mountain Wildlife, and more!

There are also a number of outdoor activities, including pumpkin painting, Possum Patty live animal show, a nature coloring contest for youth and adults in addition to a nature walk led by Hemlock Hannah.

The event is sponsored by Explore Schuylkill and administered by the Schuylkill Conservation District.
