Stanley P. Brozana Jr., 72 – Served 37 Years as Orwigsburg Police Chief
Catherine Mary Bosna, 93, of Pottsville, and formerly of Mar Lin and Hellertown, died on Monday, January 18, 2021 in Pottsville.
She was a daughter of the late Anthony and Martha (nee Ambrulavage) Grenus.
Having attended the former Blythe Township schools, Catherine was a top stitcher for local garment factories.
A devout Christian, she had been raised in the Catholic faith.
Catherine was firm but good hearted; loved family. She enjoyed playing cards and doing word puzzles and was a great cook.
Catherine was the mother of three children, Susan, John, and David. The last of 8 siblings she was predeceased by Anthony Grenus, Jr., George Grenus, Anna Grenus, Mary Wasilko, Ella Rumbavage, Daniel Grenus, and Theresa Lavango.
Catherine is survived by 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.
Memorials in her name may be made to St. Nicholas Ukranian Catholic Church, 415 North Front Street, Minersville, PA 17954.
