Voters in two Schuylkill County precincts will have to cast the ballots in new locations in the upcoming Primary Election.
Schuylkill County Commissioners approved changing the polling location for Precinct 31 in Gilberton and Precinct 54 in Palo Alto at their meeting on Wednesday.
The Pennsylvania Primary Election is May 19.
Ongoing repairs of water damage at the previous polling location in Gilberton have forced the Schuylkill County Election Bureau to move it to Continental Hose, 229 Main St. The previous polling location was American Hose Co. on High St. in Gilberton.
In Palo Alto, voters who used to cast ballots at Borough Hall will now cast their ballots at Citizens Fire Co. No. 1, 139 W. Bacon St. This location change was necessary due to a relocation of Borough offices and renovations.
