A Schuylkill County man is facing cyber harassment and harassment charges after police say he posted a disturbing video to Instagram.
The video, police say, made explicit accusations of child sexual abuse committed by the four people named in it. On Feb. 19, police say they were called to Schuylkill Haven Area High School regarding the video after a student there reported it.
That student claimed that Darwin Goerner, 18, of Schuylkill Haven, posted the video on his Instagram account the day prior. In the video, Goerner names three adult-aged students and one juvenile student and makes explicit accusations against them.
All four students named in the video say they believe they’re being harassed by Goerner.
While investigating the claim, the mother of one of the alleged victims of this incident reportedly told police that Goerner posted a video in November that was also of a threatening nature. In it, Goerner allegedly posted the phrase, “My shooters don’t play, don’t play on me.”
Goerner has been charged with a misdemeanor count of cyber harassment and four misdemeanor counts of harassment. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 31.
