Snow removal efforts in Tamaqua will continue into next week as the Borough continues to dig out from the more than foot of snow that fell on the area on Sunday.
The Borough has released an updated schedule for snow removal from certain streets beginning next week.
Tamaqua Snow Removal Schedule
The Borough says these times are subject to change based on weather conditions.
All vehicles must be removed from the posted streets two hours prior to start time. Vehicles that remain on the posted streets will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense …
Sunday, Feb. 1, starting at 10 p.m.
- E. Broad St.: North side from Patterson St. to the former Maff Motors
- Washington St.: From Rose St. to Lafayette St.
- Patterson St.: From Willing St. to end
Monday, Feb. 2, starting at 10 a.m.
- Spruce St.: From Center St. to Green St.
- Hazle St.: From Greenwood St. to Elizabeth St.
- Lafayette St.: From Washington St. to Catawissa St.
- High St.: From Bowe St. to Lehigh St.
Monday, Feb. 2, starting at 10 p.m.
