Pottsville law firm continues strategic expansion

Schuylkill County’s largest and oldest law firm, WFJ Law, proudly announces the addition of two new associate attorneys—Jessica Halina Eckrote and Joseph B. Colletti—to support the firm’s continued growth and expansion.

Attorneys Eckrote and Colletti will join WFJ Law’s Elder Law & Estate Planning Group, where their practices will focus on Asset Protection & Wealth Preservation Planning, Long-Term Care Planning, Estate Planning (Wills & Trusts), and Estate Administration.

Attorney Eckrote, a native of Nanticoke and a 2023 graduate of Widener University Commonwealth Law School, previously practiced with an Elder Law firm in Lycoming County and brings a wealth of experience in Elder Law matters. Attorney Colletti, a Philadelphia native and 2025 graduate of Penn State Law, brings strong academic credentials and a deep commitment to client-focused advocacy.

“Jessica and Joe embody the professionalism, integrity, and client-centered mindset that define our firm’s mission,” said Eric M. Mika, Esq., Partner and Chair of WFJ Law’s Elder Law & Estate Planning Group. “Their addition strengthens our capacity to meet the growing demand for sophisticated elder law, asset protection, tax and estate planning services across the region.”

WFJ Law continues to experience significant growth across multiple practice areas. As part of the firm’s long-term strategic development plan, WFJ Law anticipates hiring three additional associate attorneys in 2026 to support its expanding client base and ensure the firm maintains the highest level of service.

“Our investment in talented young attorneys is essential to sustaining the high standards our clients expect and deserve,” said the firm’s Managing Partner, Richard J. Weist, Esq. “The continued expansion of our Elder Law Group reflects our deep commitment to providing trusted guidance to individuals, families, and businesses throughout Schuylkill County and Eastern Pennsylvania.”
