National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Schuylkill County.
The Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 1 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Heavy snow is possible from an expected storm approaching Schuylkill County. Accumulation of more than 6 inches is possible during the storm.
Roads will likely become slick and hazardous during the snowfall and travel will be difficult, NWS advises.
Tuesday morning and evening commutes likely will be impacted by the storm.
