A Schuylkill County man is facing several charges for allegedly knocking on random doors after attending a bush party late last month.
State Police say they were called to Norwegian Township shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 26 for a report of a disturbance.
At the scene, police say they met with 19-year-old Ahjere Adams, of Mahanoy City, who reportedly said he woke up in the area of Sharon Drive after attending a bush party near Mar Lin. Adams said he didn’t know where he was when he woke up and started knocking on doors in the area.
As police conducted their questioning, they asked Adams what he had in his pockets. Police say they asked for their safety purposes.
Adams reportedly pulled out a piece of white clothing and what is described as a “weed packet” that he said was empty. Police say they took possession of the packet and noted that it was labeled Nezuko OG and still had weed in it.
When police told Adams that the packet that he said was empty still had product in it, he is quoted as having said, “I don’t know. It should be.”
Adams was transported back to his home in Mahanoy City and eventually released to his parents.
Police have charged Adams with marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct.
A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
