Police are investigating a suspected homicide in Frackville overnight in which one woman died. A suspect is in custody.
At 12:06 a.m. Saturday, Frackville Police were called to a home on S. Center St. in the borough after Schuylkill County 9-1-1 received a call about a female suffering from a gunshot wound.
Frackville Police Dept. arrived on the scene and encountered Andrew Peleschak, 56, who was taken into custody without incident.
Inside the residence, police say they found the body of Natalie Peleschak, 55, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Andrew Peleschak was airlifted to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville for treatment.
Natalie Peleschak was pronounced dead at the scene by the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office.
An investigation into this incident by State Police is ongoing. No other details are currently available.
