Police in Schuylkill County say they’re investigating an incident earlier this month in which a toddler was seen standing in the middle of Route 209 in just a wet diaper.
According to State Police-Frackville, numerous witnesses say they saw a 2-year-old boy standing in the middle of Route 209 in Cumbola, Blythe Township, shortly before 9 a.m. on Sept. 19.
The toddler, witnesses say, was only wearing a wet diaper.
Witnesses were able to make contact with the child’s mother and he was returned home, police say.
An investigation into this incident is being conducted by State Police and Schuylkill County Children & Youth Services.
