A warrant has been issued for the arrest of an Allentown man accused of striking his fiance at her home in Schuylkill County.
According to police in Mahanoy City, an officer responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up on Sept. 14 and met with the person who reportedly dialed.
The woman said she had been speaking with a male co-worker on the phone when her fiance, Josuet Datil-Valle, 32, began accusing her of being unfaithful.
This led to an argument between the couple. At some point during the argument, Datil-Valle reportedly said to the victim, “If you talk back to me, I’m going to hit you.”
Datil-Valle then allegedly punched the victim in the face. She told police that she struck back and cut her finger on his teeth. As Datil-Valle left the residence, he reportedly shoved the victim as he exited through the back door.
Police say the victim suffered a bruise on her right cheek.
A search of the area for Datil-Valle did not result in his apprehension.
Two counts of simple assault and a single count of harassment have been filed against Datil-Valle with Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker.
