The Schuylkill County Historical Society is offering an encore presentation of “World War II: On the Local Home Front”.
The program takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 1., at 6:30 p.m. at the Historical Society’s headquarters in Pottsville.
Pottsville resident Dot Loy will discuss her experiences as a teenager during the war years, and attendees are welcome to share their memories and family stories of that time.
Admission is free to Society members and $5 for the general public.
