A Schuylkill County man is facing a summary harassment charge after police say he threw a stuffed bear at a woman.
State Police in Frackville say they received a call from Ringtown on the night of May 29 from a borough woman reporting that she got hit in the head with something that caused her to “see stars.”
On their way to responding to the call, police say they encountered the man that the woman said threw the object at her. Police questioned Michael J. Galavage, 49, of Pottsville.
Galavage admitted to throwing a stuffed bear at the Ringtown woman, police say. Later, police say the Ringtown woman confirmed that she was, indeed, hit with a thrown stuffed bear.
Police filed a summary harassment charge against Galavage.
