Penn State-Schuylkill women’s basketball team thumped a short-handed Fisher College team in a pair of games this weekend.
Penn State-Schuylkill 68, Fisher 28
On Saturday evening at the home campus, the Lions defeated Fisher, 68-28.
Tajae Stevenson led all scorers with 22 points and Kassidy Ingram contributed another 14 to lead the Lions.
Local product Serena Jones (Tamaqua Area High School) put in 2 points and 8 rebounds in the lopsided win.

On Sunday, Ingram led all scorers with 16 points in a 58-36 win.
Jones was the leading rebounder, coming off the bench to haul in a game-high 9 boards.
Fisher College used just 5 players in both games this weekend.
The wins moves the Lions to 15-7 on the season.
