A Schuylkill County man faces a DUI charge following a crash on Monday afternoon.

According to state police in Schuylkill Haven, the crash happened a little after 3 p.m. Monday along S. Sillyman St. in Cressona.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash. Police arrived on the scene and said a vehicle driven by Nicholas Trumbo, 41, of Friedensburg, had been driving erratically prior to the crash.

Trumbo drove his vehicle into another and then crashed into a school bus owned by R&J Transportation. The bus, police say, was empty.

Police interviewed Trumbo at the scene of the crash and they say he appeared intoxicated. They say Trumbo admitted to drinking before the crash happened.
