Residents Warned to Lock Vehicle Doors Following Auburn Thefts
State Police in Schuylkill Haven are warning locals to keep the vehicle doors locked at night following a string of reported thefts in Auburn last week.
According to information released on April 4, police say they received 3 calls from residents on Pine St. in Auburn. Each said someone broke into their vehicles and took money from them.
The thefts reportedly happened between midnight and 10 a.m. on April 1.
People reporting the thefts say they did not have their vehicle doors locked at night.
Police say that it’s vital to lock doors at night. And it’s a good idea not to keep any other valuables inside.
