Police in Tilden Township, just over the Schuylkill County line, are looking for a woman they say was involved in a road rage incident Monday afternoon.
They say the incident went down at about 12:30 p.m. Monday at Route 61 North and Lowland Rd.
Out of nowhere, a woman gets out of her vehicle – described as a red, Suzuki sedan – and approaches a tractor-trailer behind her in traffic.
The woman then climbs up the driver’s side door of the truck and lets the man behind the wheel have it.
The woman was irate, the drive told police. She starts pounding on the window of the truck and then begins hurling profanities at him.
That wasn’t enough. The woman then opens the truck door and continues her verbal assault, again with the cursing.
While the driver was on the phone with a 9-1-1 operator, police say the woman spit in the driver’s face several times.
Luckily for the driver, he was able to snap some photos of the irate woman and really, did a great job of capturing the moment.
The only thing police don’t have yet is an identity on the woman. They’re asking for the public’s help in ID’ing her. If you know who she is, contact Tilden Township PD at 610-562-9001 or email crimetips@tildentownship.com. You can also call anonymously to Crime Alert Berks at 877-373-9913.
