State Police in Frackville continue to look for the person who is responsible for striking a hunter with his utility terrain vehicle about a week ago in Mahanoy Township.
Police say the incident occurred at about 11 a.m. on Dec. 12. That’s when a hunter – identified as a 40-year-old man from Frackville – was in the area of Peddlers Grave in Mahanoy Township.
As the hunter was in the area, he was encountered by someone driving a Polaris RZR. Whoever was driving that UTV struck the hunter and then sped off from the scene.
The hunter was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, according to police information.
