A New Philadelphia man is being charged with assault after having contact with a 3-year-old girl from the borough.
According to information released Monday by State Police in Frackville, they received a call on Saturday afternoon from a person about an active domestic disturbance on Water Street.
The caller said their 3-year-old daughter had been “subjected to physical contact” by James Lee Suggs, 25, of New Philly.
Police arrested Suggs and took him before District Judge David Rossi. Suggs was arraigned on Simple Assault (a misdemeanor) and Harassment charges.
Rossi released Suggs on $15,000 bail.
