Schuylkill County’s total of positive COVID-19 coronavirus now stands at 54. That total is 7 higher than yesterday.
This is the 12th consecutive day of positive coronavirus cases locally. Here’s a day-by-day breakdown:

Statewide, cumulatively, there are 7,016 positive cases as of noon Thursday, April 2. Pennsylvania’s death toll from coronavirus-related illness is now 90. No deaths have been reported from Schuylkill County.
The first positive case in Pennsylvania was reported on March 6.

To date, there are 7,016 total positive cases in Pennsylvania and another 47,698 negatives.

The Blue line tracks New Positive cases of coronavirus while the Red tracks total to date. The Orange Line represents New Negative cases since the state started reporting them.
The volume of new cases reported daily may be alarming. However, each day, the state gets more test results per day.
