Schuylkill County Woman Punches Tower City Man Through a Window

A Schuylkill County woman required a mental health evaluation after she punched a man through a screen in Tower City Sunday.

State Police at Schuylkill Haven say Torie Kocher, 20, of Tower City, punched 29-year-old Robert Jones, also of Tower City, through a window just before 5 p.m. Sunday.

While punching Jones, Kocher damaged a window screen.

While in custody, Kocher was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for a mental health evaluation.

A search of court records shows that no charges have been filed in this case, as of Tuesday night.

State Police Searching for ATV Rider Who Tore Up Wayne Township

Sometime between 7 p.m. March 25 and 8 a.m. March 26, State Police at Schuylkill Haven say someone rode up to a home on Schwartz Valley Rd. in Wayne Township.

The ATV driver spun their tires and dug ruts in the homeowner’s lawn. It’s not known in which direction the driver sped off.

If anyone has info on this incident, they’re asked to call the Haven barracks at 570-754-4600.

Unknown Person Starts Firing Gun on Washington Township Property

State Police say they don’t know who showed up at a Washington Township woman’s property on March 20 and started firing a gun.

Just after 3 p.m., the person trespassed on the Roedersville Rd. property of 59-year-old Kathy Tompkins. She says the person just started shooting a gun.

No other information is available on the incident.

$5K Worth of Equipment Stolen from West Brunswick Township Business

Omnova Solutions, of Auburn, is working with State Police at Schuylkill Haven to find out who stole a pair of electric banders worth a combined $5,000.

The alleged theft happened sometime between March 2 and March 25.
