UPDATE: Pennsylvania Coronavirus Cases Now at 10, 3 Hospitalized
Pennsylvania health officials confirmed a 7th case of coronavirus in the state Monday.
According to the Dept. of Health, another person in Montgomery County tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus. The person is in critical condition at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
This is the 5th case of coronavirus in Montgomery County and 7th overall in Pennsylvania.
The first 2 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus was confirmed in Pennsylvania on March 6.
7th Coronavirus Case Confirmed in Pennsylvania – Patient in Critical Condition
Unlike the first 6 confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus, the latest Montgomery County case is listed in critical condition.
Previously confirmed cases of the outbreak in the state all reported experiencing “mild symptoms” of the virus. They’re all in self-containment at their homes, health officials reported.
All 7 cases in Pennsylvania have been linked to “known international exposure” to the virus.
