Firefighters from around Schuylkill County responded to a house fire on Glenworth Road just outside Pottsville Tuesday morning.
At the scene, those firefighters found 57 Glenworth Road fully consumed with flames. According to Zillow.com, the 8-acre property you’ve surely noticed if you’re familiar with the Hillside area around Pottsville features the 2,800-square foot main home that burned.
As you’ll see below, at one point during the incident, firefighters were ordered out and off of the sprawling house as flames continued to consumer the building. Check out the scene captured by Fire & Film and posted to YouTube earlier today:
Fire teams from Pottsville, Minersville, Schuylkill Haven and surrounding communities responded to the fire. Meanwhile, fire crews were called in from other areas around Schuylkill County to provide backup in and around the city.
That included a crew from Tuscarora Fire Company, which actually had to respond to a call in Pottsville while they were on standby:
