Landingville Man Found Dead Along Railroad Tracks in Wayne Township

State Police in Schuylkill Haven are currently investigating a death in Wayne Township.

According to information made public today, the body of 43-year-old Chad Evans, of Landingville, was found by Reading and Northern Railroad operators early Sunday afternoon.

Evans’ body was found alongside the tracks just sound of E. Liberty St. in Wayne Township at about 2 p.m. on July 26.

Police believe he could have been there as far back as July 24.

An investigation into how Evans’ body ended up alongside the tracks continues. Police say they’ll provide more information on this investigation in the future.
