National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for Schuylkill County overnight tonight.
The Frost Advisory is in effect from midnight until 8 a.m. Tuesday. A low temperature dropping to 34 degrees will likely cause frost to form and harm any sensitive outdoor vegetation.
Anyone in Schuylkill County with sensitive plants or crops that are prone to damage caused by frost should take action to protect them from tonight’s expected low temperatures.
Frost does not seem likely the rest of this week as overnight lows will range from the upper 40s to low 50s through Saturday night, according to the latest NWS forecast.
