The Schuylkill League has handed out some hardware for the 2026 golf season this week. Individual champions were crowned on Monday with the team championship round on Tuesday.
Tamaqua’s Vinc Captures Boys Title
Sam Vinc of Tamaqua captured the Schuylkill League boys individual title on Monday, firing a tournament-low round of 72 at Schuylkill Country Club. Alan Evans of Schuylkill Haven earned second-place honors with a 75, while Hurricane teammate Eli Barton finished third with a 78.
Dylan Knittle of Blue Mountain and Garrett Sukeena of Minersville tied for fourth place after both turning in cards of 82. A three-way tie for sixth place at 84 featured Connor Bowman (Mahanoy Area), Ethan Hartman (Blue Mountain), and Jace Jackson (North Schuylkill), while Chase Maley (Schuylkill Haven) and Steve Karinch (Nativity) rounded out the top 10 with matching scores of 85.
Lourdes’ Reiprish Takes Girls Title
Vivian Reiprish of Lourdes claimed the Schuylkill League girls individual championship, carding a tournament-best score of 82 at Schuylkill Country Club on Monday.
Emma Troutman of Minersville finished as the runner-up after turning in an 86. Giulianna Hughes of Schuylkill Haven placed third with an 88, while Panther Valley’s Callie Kosiolek finished fourth with a 111.
Haven Gets By Eagles in Playoff to Take Team Title
Schuylkill Haven, the Division II champs who finished the season at 12-0, captured the Schuylkill League team championship at Hidden Valley Golf Course on Tuesday, edging out Blue Mountain in a one-hole playoff after both squads finished tied at 351.
North Schuylkill secured third place in the team standings with a total of 372, while Marian Catholic rounded out the four-team tournament in fourth with a score of 377.
