A Schuylkill County man died Friday afternoon in a vehicle crash involving two commercial trucks on Route 309 in Lehigh County.
On Monday, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio identified the victim of the crash as 52-year-old Keith Staines, of Tamaqua. Staines was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, near Gun Club Road in Lynn Township, at 4:10 p.m.
Following an autopsy, Buglio determind the cause of death and multiple blunt force trauma.
The crash involved a tanker truck, which Staines was operating, and a tractor-trailer, Buglio reports.
State Police-Fogelsville and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office investigated the crash.
