UPDATE: As of 5 p.m., power outages across Schuylkill County were reduced to less than 200.
PPL Electric is reporting more than 1,200 homes and businesses in Schuylkill County are without power Sunday.
Many of those outages are being reported in Tremont, where according to the utility company’s data, nearly the entire borough is without power.
Across all PPL Electric’s network, more than 102,000 customers are without power, with tens of thousands of those in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Lancaster counties.
