An arrest warrant has been issued for a Schuylkill County man accused of breaking into a local business and stealing cash from the register.
Police in Pottsville say they were called to Glow Spa downtown shortly before 9 p.m. on March 15 for a report of a breaking-and-entering. Through their investigation, police say they were able to determine that Kevin Favinger, 51, of Saint Clair, had gained access to the premises through a side door and then into the business through a rear door from a common hallway.
Once inside the spa business, police say Favinger took about $100 in cash from a register and then exited the way in which he entered. Police add that surveillance footage from the business clearly shows Favinger inside and taking money from the register.
Further evidence gathered from the scene reportedly shows Favinger using his employer’s vehicle to get to and from the business.
Favinger is facing felony charges of burglary and criminal trespass along with misdemeanor counts of theft and receiving stolen property.
