A Schuylkill County man died after a vehicle crash Monday morning in Auburn.
State Police say they’re investigating the single-vehicle crash that happened around 11:30 a.m. Monday on Market St. (Route 895) in the borough.
Just before the crash, police say, a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Wayne Haller, of Schuylkill Haven, was traveling east in the 200 block of Market St. in Auburn. Haller’s vehicle left its lane and crashed into a utility pole and a legally parked vehicle on the shoulder of the roadway.
Police say Haller was unresponsive as they arrived on the scene and he was rushed to Geisinger-St. Luke’s Hospital by Auburn EMS. Haller was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
