The resident of an Orwigsburg nursing home accused of selling a small bag of meth to another Resident waived his right to a preliminary hearing at District Court in Orwigsburg on Tuesday morning.
Joseph Hunt, 70, is accused of selling another resident at Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center a bag of meth for $10. The meth and a straw were allegedly found under the mattress of another resident at the facility earlier this month.
When questioned and searched by police, Hunt allegedly removed a another bag of suspected methamphetamine from his wallet.
All charges against Hunt were waived to Schuylkill County Court of Common Pleas on Tuesday. Hunt was present in court. He remains locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on 10% of $25,000 bail.
Hunt has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and drug possession.
