Charges against a Pottsville man accused of biting off part of another man’s ear earlier this month were held for Schuylkill County Court on Monday.
Albert Constanzo is accused of biting off part of of a man’s ear and slashing his face with a knife.
Aggravated assault and other charges were held for court Monday following a brief preliminary hearing before District Magistrate Judge James Reiley in Pottsville.
On Dec. 14, police were called to Laurel Terrace but eventually found Constanzo and the victim in the area of 400 E. Market St. The victim, police say, had slashes on his face and was missing a portion of his ear. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Constanzo was arraigned and remanded to Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000 cash bail, which still hasn’t been posted.
