A man is in critical condition after nearly drowning Monday afternoon.
According to State Police-Frackville, the near-drowning happened at Fourth and Market streets in Kelayres, Kline Township at about 3 p.m. Monday, June 17
A 56-year-old man reportedly nearly drowned, according to police.
First responders arrived on the scene and began performing life-saving procedures. The man, who is not named by police, was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton and then taken by medical helicopter to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
Police say the man remains in critical condition in an update provided on Tuesday night.
