Catalytic Converters Stolen from 9 Vehicles at Schuylkill County Business

Police seeking leads on this case

Police are investigating more catalytic converter thefts in Schuylkill County.

According to State Police-Schuylkill Haven, this latest incident happened late on the night of Jan. 26 at EZ Rent to Own along Route 61 in North Manheim Township.

Police say someone went to that business and took the catalytic converters from 9 vehicles. The total value of the items stolen is about $1,800, according to information released by police. 

The catalytic converters were attached to the following vehicles:

  • 2013 Chevrolet Equinox
  • 2013 Chevrolet Traverse
  • A pair of 2016 Jeep Compass
  • 2012 Subaru Outback
  • 2015 GMC Terrain
  • 2011 Kia Sorento
  • 2012 Jeep Compass
  • 2012 Jeep Liberty

An investigation into this reported theft is ongoing and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call State Police-Schuylkill Haven at 570-754-4600.
