A Lansford man is facing an indecent assault charge after he allegedly groped a bartender in Ringtown late last month.
According to information from State Police-Frackville, the incident happened back on Oct. 27, just before 11 p.m., at an unspecified bar in Ringtown.
Police say that 49-year-old Darl Friend, of Lansford, put his hand down the shirt of a bartender and touched her inappropriately.
This apparently drew the ire of 27-year-old Matthew Schlauch, of Ringtown, and a physical altercation spilled outside the bar in the parking lot.
While outside, Schlauch reportedly slugged Friend in the face, causing an injury of an unknown extent.
Police have charged each with separate crimes related to this incident.
Friend is facing a misdemeanor indecent assault charge while Schlauch has been charged with Simple Assault. Both are due before District Magistrate Edward Tarantelli on Dec. 13 for preliminary hearings.
