The Powerball jackpot keeps growing. Tonight’s drawing could be worth an estimated $1.2 billion to one lucky winner.
Nobody won the Powerball jackpot on Monday, Oct. 2. It was the 33rd consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner. The last time someone won Powerball was back on July 19, when a lucky winner in California walked away with $1.08 billion.
Although there were no really big winners on Monday, a pair of tickets did hit for $2 million (one in New York and the other in South Carolina). And a ticket in Delaware and another in Michigan hit for $1 million.
Back on Sept. 30, one lucky Powerball buyer at Pottsville Provision hit for $1 million.
Wednesday’s $1.2 billion jackpot is the 3rd largest in Powerball history.
Tonight’s drawing starts at 10:59 p.m. and can be seen on WNEP-TV or online at powerball.com.
