Betty M. Schreffler, 72 – Will Be Remembered as Pre-school Teacher

Betty M. Schreffler, age 72, of Hegins, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

She was born on Wednesday, September 27, 1950, in Valley View, a daughter of Willard Clark and Merle Artz Clark.

Betty would be remembered most as a teacher at the Trinity Lutheran Church Pre-school, she also worked for the Pottsville Republican and Tobash Insurance.

Her passion in life was working with crafts, traveling and being with family and friends. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, and was involved with and volunteered for various charities and organizations

She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Clark, mother, Merle Clark. She is survived by her husband Ronald Schreffler. She is also survived by a sister, Patricia Hornberger; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Lee Diefenderfer officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be made in Fountain Community Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
