Catherine Marie Walters, age 53, of Pottsville, passed away Friday, June 9th, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill, East in Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville on May 9, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Gus and Margaret L. (Zeigler) Wetefsky.
Cathy was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 1988. She worked as a cook for the Lehigh Valley Hospital, East in Pottsville and also for Dunkin Donuts in Pottsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Devon L. Walters on September 9, 2002 and a brother Lewis E. Wetefsky.
Cathy is survived by three daughters: Katie M. Walters, Elizabeth R. Walters, and Melissa Miller, all of Pottsville; a brother William D. Wetefsky, Pottsville.
A Religious Service was held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home in Port Carbon on Thursday, June 15th, with Pastor Davis officiating.
Interment held at the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery in Schuylkill Haven.
